Abstract. The modern society is characterized by a number of researchers as a “society of knowledge”, i.e. the era marked by growth of information resources and dominance of knowledge as a value in all the spheres of the life of the society. Accelerating branching of information flows leads to strengthening of the role of experts and expansion of their functional tasks. However, tomorrow will present for the expert a new task: amount of information that he mastered the day before becomes useless. This research is devoted to the analysis of formation of the expert style of thinking in conditions of the changing society.
