PREDICTION OF CRIMES AS A FORM OF CRIMINALITY PREVENTION

Abstract.
The article addresses the issue of criminality prevention, as well as “crime prognostication” as a possible form of prevention. The author proves the expediency of the development of the newest information complexes in the system of domestic criminality prevention. It is noted that state politics currently demands from the law enforcement authorities of the Russian Federation to conduct analysis, storage and processing of analytical data for their subsequent use in official activity and prediction of the criminality dynamics, which will allow developing effective methods of its prevention.
