Abstract. The article presents the results of a sociological survey among the representatives of the architectural community (students-architects). The survey was aimed to identify style preferences in architecture, to analyze respondents’ associations with the architecture of the past, present and future and prognostic statements on artificial environment. The research findings will help to form the changeable architecture image established within the domestic architectural community. Dynamics of this image is interpreted as a representation of architecture development over long historical periods - global styles.
