Abstract.
The article considers the current perception of the activity-based foundations of existing volunteer movement in educational institutions and the innovative positions of its development and formation. The author reveals the basic aspects of the mobilization level of volunteer activity. Particular attention is paid to the institutionalization of volunteer movement as an integrative direction of pedagogical activity, which allows developing the theory and practice of responsible growth and sustainable development of students’ professionalism basing on the activity of socially-oriented organizations.
