Abstract.
Teaching the language of the specialty is an important aspect in teaching Russian as a foreign language at the preparatory faculty. It is well-known that a scientific text has a number of features, for example: large quantity of terms, increased use of verbal nouns, various syntactic constructions. The article describes some methods of working with educational and scientific texts on economics in classes with entrants, who have come from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
