PECULIARITIES OF ORGANIZING A MODERN LESSON OF MUSIC WITH SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract. The article considers the foundations of the organization of a modern lesson of music with secondary schools students (adolescents). Its distinctive features are analyzed on the basis of the content of federal state educational standards regulating the implementation of the educational process. The actual forms, methods, types of a lesson, which give an opportunity to intensify teaching music to adolescents, are revealed. The obtained results allowed the author, as an example, to develop methodological recommendations for the implementation of a lesson-contest that meets modern requirements.
