Abstract.
The article is devoted to the characteristic of the structural features of the headings containing elliptic constructions. Elliptic headings are the characteristic feature of modern social and political essays. Thanks to their brevity, laconism and incompleteness they draw readers' attention more than the headings which are full and finished statements. The authors of the article offer and in detail analyse the classification of the elliptic titles taken from qualitative German press.
