Abstract.
The article is devoted to the study of the translation principles of F. Sologub at different stages of his work with P. Verlen's poetry. The translated books of different years are chosen as the most representative material. The comparative analysis of two books allows finding out the changes of F. Sologub's translation strategy and aesthetic views.
