Abstract.
The author undertakes the attempt to consider the grammatical peculiarities of the verbal phraseological units of the Udi language in comparison with the Arabic language, sets the following tasks: to collect, systematize and classify the group of the phraseological units comprising a verbal component, and as the result of the research finds out that phraseological units, as the ancient layer and the vast part of the Udi language structure, take the central place in it and, having a lot of identical peculiarities of the metaphorical rethinking of realia from traditional everyday life and lifestyle spheres with the compared language, are interesting for studying both some problems of the Udi lexicology and general phraseology.
