Abstract.
The authors present the functional-communicative analysis of oral statements with deictic lexemes “here”, “near at hand”, “there”, determine the topicality of studying the functioning of these indicators in folk speech by the specificity of oral, direct communication, the conditions for its implementation, and by the dialectal material for the first time consider deictic mechanisms that allow a speaker not only conveying the content of a sentence (information about some fragment of reality) in optimal manner but also realizing communicative attitudes.
