Abstract.
The author reveals the content of the notion of innovations in linguistic education system, and pays special attention to the differentiation between traditional education, which is characterized by teaching techniques focused at the transfer of ready knowledge and the methods of problems solutions that have, in general, definite answers, and innovative education, where the content and methods of teaching are focused at mastering the methodology of creative constructive activity.
