Abstract.
The author reveals the content of the notion “precedent noun”, describes the peculiarities of this phenomenon functioning within the framework of biblical paradigm, and pays special attention to the question of presentation and actualization of precedent phenomena with biblical onomastic component in the practice of German language teaching in higher education establishment.
