Abstract. The author analyzes the organizational-pedagogical conditions of forming the interest to study the English language in nonlinguistic higher education establishment, pays special to such conditions as student-centered teaching, the content of training material and teacher’s personality, and considers the reasons of the lack of interest among students to study of the English language.
