FEATURES OF NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OBJECTS REPRESENTATION IN SEMANTICS OF MODERN ENGLISH-AMERICAN SLANG

Abstract. The author analyzes the Anglo-American slang as a special sphere of language lexical arsenal, tells that lexical phenomena within slang language usage meet well-known canons: semantic shift is in the image and likeness, covering such categories and notions of object as appearance, general characteristics, distinguishing features; and conducts the lexical-semantic analysis of lexical units in the structure of slang for the creation of their more orderable perception and understanding in the rank of the modern English language.
