Abstract.
The author considers the notion of “training autonomy”, presents author’s interpretation of this notion, describes the technology of training autonomy skills development of nonlinguistic specialties students who study a foreign language developed by the author, and tells that the technology is based on the idea of metacognitive strategies gradual formation and the use of project-based learning involving the creation of podcasts for this purpose.
