Abstract.
The author researches and analyzes the functional features of parenthesis by the material of German fiction Homo Faber‖, Tagebuch 1946-1949‖ by M. Frisch and «Die Taube» by P. Suskind, presents the results of parenthesis functioning analysis, and explains the reasons of the frequency of these stylistic devices use in these works.
