Abstract.
Vysotskii’s song is analyzed in the article from the point of view of its mythological structure and is understood as the literary stylization of a myth. The article touches upon the literary history of the image, enriching the “myth” about Vysotskii with additional philosophical and historical meanings. As a result, the image of “mountain echo” is understood as the mythological generalization of the tragic history of the of ХХ
th century.
