PARAMETRIC STRATIFICATION OF GLOSSARY OF THE GERMAN-RUSSIAN DICTIONARY

Abstract.
The article analyzes the glossary of the German-Russian dictionary by M. Ya. Zviling according to four parameters: functional (the frequency of use), syntagmatic (collocability), paradigmatic (joining the ranks of synonymic rows) and epidigmatic (polysemy) with the purpose of further separation of the lexical-semantic system core in the German language. The stratification of vocabulary is implemented by the methodology developed by V. T. Titov and approved by him for the Romance languages. This study is conducted taking into account the improvements in the methodology.
