THE ROLE OF CREOLIZATION IN TEXT COMPREHENSION

Abstract.
In the article the author makes an attempt to identify the role of the creolization phenomenon in text comprehension. The fact that creolization is of primary importance in the life of modern society is unquestionable. However, sometimes the presence of creolization elements in a text can narrow the scope of text comprehension. The notions of verbal, nonverbal and mental creolization of the text are distinguished, their role in text comprehension is considered.
