SIMILAR FEATURES OF W. ARENT’S AND K. HILLER’S POETICAL ANTHOLOGIES

Abstract.
The article examines the history of publishing poetical anthology compiled by W. Arent and having a significant impact on the formation of naturalism as a trend of German literature, and the first anthology of expressionistic poetry compiled by K. Hiller. The author reveals the similar features in these anthologies typical for the epoch fin de siècle and allowing concluding on the continuity in a literary process. The paper also summarizes discussions developed in the society around the publications.
