ANGLICISATION OF LANGUAGES IN THE PROCESS OF GLOBALIZATION

Abstract.
In the article the history of anglicization of different languages for many centuries is considered; the historical reasons of this phenomenon are ascertained. The content of the research is the analysis of examples from reference books, dictionaries, and websites on the basis of which the author determines how critical the problem of the aggressive policy of a single language related to the theory and practice of anglicization was and the attitude towards this phenomenon today.
