DIFFICULTIES IN TRANSLATION OF M. I. TSVETAEVA’S MINIATURE “ON LOVE" INTO THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE: COMPOSITION AND SYNTACTIC LEVELS

Abstract.
The article deals with the peculiarities of M. I. Tsvetaeva’s prose as a model of the phenomenon of the poet's prose. The linguistic features of M. I. Tsvetaeva’s prose are structured, the author’s scheme illustrating these features is presented. The translation difficulties arising in the translation of the prose works written by M. I. Tsvetaeva into the English language at composition and syntactic levels are described. The authors carry out the analysis of the translation by J. Gambrell of the work “On Love”, and identify the advantages and disadvantages of this translation.
