PECULIARITIES OF CONCEPTIONS ABOUT A SOUL IN THE LITERARY WORK OF HERACLITUS OF EPHESUS

Abstract.
The article considers the peculiarities of a dialectic interpretation of a soul in the works of Heraclitus of Ephesus. The soul of a person is examined in the interconnection with a body and at the same time as a manifestation of the soil of the Universe. A special attention is paid to find out the main features and abilities of a soul, study of the peculiarities of the soul and body, the soul and the Universe. The research of the issue has been done with bringing in the works of ancient and medieval interpreters of Heraclitus’ teaching, which has allowed exercising an authentic (from the position of that time) study of the problem.
