ON THE PROBLEM OF SEARCH FOR ADEQUATE TRANSLATION SOLUTIONS IN THE SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION MODE WITHIN THE COMMUNICATIVE MODEL

Abstract. Simultaneous translation is a complicated type of bilingual communicative activity implemented under time pressure. Due to this peculiarity of simultaneous translation it would be reasonable to consider it from the viewpoint of communicative model. Relying on the provisions of this model, according to which the validation criterion of translation is its adequacy for recipient, the author classified the translation variants under analysis into the adequate and inadequate.
