Abstract.
The article studies the sonnets on subjects from the national history written by G. V. Golohvastov, who was the head of the poetry school of the Russian “Americans”. Basing on the description and analysis of figurative and meaningful content of their invariant concepts - “Russia”, “state”, “ruler” - the ideological and figurative-symbolic foundations of the Russian civilizational identity are substantiated.
