Abstract.
In the framework of an argument-functional approach the author considers the possibilities of the realization of arguments and thematic roles of a verb in the German pejorative verbal-phrasal substantives on Ge-…-e and -er(ei) . The realization of the arguments may be intraword, more seldom external and latent, and also facultative and obligatory. The more arguments are realized in the internal structure of pejorative verbal-phrasal derivatives, by the larger emotionality and information density they are characterized.
