Abstract.
The article deals with the issue of the use of audio versions of the work of art (audiobook) as a sound material for the study of intonation peculiarities of everyday speech. The author describes the requirements and limitations of the selection of the works of art for future research conditioned by the structural difference between the literary text and the spontaneous speech. Special attention is drawn to the text production, the characteristics of its participants, the genre of the used text.
