Abstract.
The article gives a brief review of a poetic collection by A. Kargaly, consisting of ten narrations about the Muslim prophets and saints. Original author’s interpretation of the plots of stories, the unique laconic poet’s style is also revealed in it. The stories are characterized by a broad variety of Sufi images and motives. The plots of the stories are obtained from Koran, hadiths, various eastern legends and stories, but at the same time they are distinguished by national originality.
