ANIMALISTIC IMAGES IN THE POEMS BY M.I. TSVETAEVA “EGORUSHKA” AND “THE LITTLE RED BULL”

Abstract.
At the turn of the XIX-XX centuries in the poetry, as in the other spheres of culture, the active revision of the traditional conceptions on a human being and his place in the nature begins. “Crisis of humanism” mentioned by Blok deepens the meaning of animalistic motives and renews them cardinally, emphasizing those primordial elements which exceed the limits of human “practicability”. M. I. Tsvetaeva’s appeal for animalistic images allows more detailed presentation of a lyrical hero’s psychological state and poetess’ attitude to her epoch. In the poems “Egorushka” and “The Little Red Bull” there are no domestic animals, but predators capable to discover the morals of modernity.
