Abstract.
The article is devoted to the lexico-semantic analysis of the German verbs with the prefix vorbei-. The authors examine the problems of correlation between the form and meaning of the linguistic sign by the example of these verbs. The paper claims that the expressive, subjectival (typical for a subject) and synethetical effects conditioned by the alliterative nature of a verb basis, sound symbolism of the prefix vorbei- initiate the complicated associative and psychological image.
