Abstract.
The article is devoted to the development of collocation competence as a one of the problems of combinatorial linguodidactics. The author considers the techniques of work with dictionary and text, allowing us to understand the semantic, syntagmatic, syntactic and pragmatic relations between lexical units during the classes of the French language and developing students' collocation competence which is an important component of foreign language communicative competence, making their speech natural.
