Abstract.
This article is devoted to the analysis of the memoirs of the French ex-trader Jérôme Kerviel. The text is studied at different linguistic levels. The lexical aspect covers the expressive means of the language, the functioning of special economic terms and professionalisms, intertextual elements, real and fictional appellatives. At the syntactic level the kinds of the sentences typical for the author’s style are analyzed. The conducted research allows identifying the peculiarities of interaction between the artistic and economic types of discourse.
