Abstract. The article examines key stages of the development of a creative task in the discipline “Ergonomics and Anthropometry” for the second-year students-designers. On the basis of data analysis, received in the process of the subject teaching, the authors have noticed obstacles, occurring among listeners while doing the final stages of design and presentation of the graphic information. Also the paper considers the main methods of teaching, which are used while teaching the discipline under study. The structural scheme of the creative task is described in detail.
