CONSTRUCTIONS WITH THE SUPPORT VERB “TO DO” IN THE ROMAN LANGUAGES

Abstract. The article deals with the problems of constructions with the support verb “to do” (lexical verbs constructions - LVC) in the Roman languages. The analyzed structures are characterized by the boundary status and are at the joint of grammar and phraseology. The novelty of the research consists in the analysis of the functioning of LVC in two Roman languages ​​in the comparative aspect. As a result of the conducted study the author states the fact of the quantitative predominance and major originality of the constructions with the verb “to do” in Italian rather than in Spanish.
