Abstract.
The article examines the peculiarities of translation of the German language medical documents into Russian by the example of authentic texts. The author analyzes the type and form of the text, examines the units of translation, the transformation of sentence structure, occurring in the translation process. The paper also studies the possibility of an adequate transfer of contextual differences and differences, associated with linguistic system.
