FORMATION OF THE SEMANTIC FIELD “POLYLINGUALISM” IN DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN SCIENCE

Abstract.
The article investigates the questions of formation of the semantic field “polylingualism”. To specify the phenomenon of “polylingualism” the data of scientometrics, bibliometrics and the possibilities of corpus linguistics are used. The analysis of the number of published works on the Web of Science platform, Scopus database and E-library scientific electronic library has revealed the general tendency - the manifestation of the greatest interest of the Russian and foreign science to the study of the problems of polylingualism in 2014-2016. Using the possibilities of corpus linguistics, the key words forming the common core of the semantic field “polylingualism” are extracted and analyzed.
