Abstract.
The article contains the characteristic of the specificity of applying the methods and principles of the fiction translation from the Russian language into the Lezghian one, their influence on the adequacy of translation and preservation of the writer’s idiostyle. The authors describe the peculiarities of interpreter’s use of interlanguage transformations. An attempt is made to characterize the possibilities of creating the equivalent translation of a literary text by means of a language that differs in system and structure from the original language.
