Abstract. The article considers the problem of the pedagogical university students’ preparedness for the professional activity in rural area conditions. The changes in the socio-economical development of society affect youth environment and sharpen general problems in the countryside. In this connection the necessity of preparedness of the teachers adapted to the work in countryside, orientation toward the formation of professional preparedness, positive attitude to pedagogical activity in rural conditions, is increased.
