RESEARCH OF MEGALOPOLIS ARCHITECTURE IMPACT ON GSM STANDARD BASE STATIONS FIELD LEVEL ATTENUATION

Abstract. The article presents expressions for calculating the value of GSM standard base stations field intensity attenuation in megalopolis conditions, and also analyzes the impact of urban area development architecture and relief on GSM standard base stations field level attenuation. It is known that the calculation expressions of field level attenuation, particularly, according to the model "Okumura-Hata", have empirical character. Thereby in the research an attempt is made to maximally adapt the model "Okumura-Hata" to the conditions of the town with specific architecture.
