STOCK-RAISING AND PROCESSING INDUSTRY OF THE NOBILITY OF VORONEZH PROVINCE IN THE 1880-1900S

Abstract. The article reveals the state of the stock-raising and processing industry of Voronezh province, which was owned by the nobility in the crisis period for the province during the 1880-1900s. The dynamics of the development of the nobility’s horse breeding, sheep breeding is considered. Particular attention is paid to the profitability of the indigenously nobility’s enterprises - distilleries and beetroot-sugar factories. The author provides data about the number of various enterprises of Voronezh nobility including their owners and cost.
