SMALL-SIZE ANTENNA OF S-RANGE FOR UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE

Abstract. A low-profile S-range antenna is proposed for installation on unmanned aerial vehicles, primarily those related to the class of small-size complexes. This antenna belongs to the class of shortened ones and represents a dipole with the capacitive end load. The design is more than half the size of the prototype. The antenna with vertical polarization has a quasi-isotropic direction pattern in the azimuth plane with the maximum gain of 2 dBi and relatively wide operating frequency band.
