LIBERALIZATION OF POLITICAL REGIME IN SOUTH KOREA: AGREEMENT OF ELITE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problems of democratization in Republic of Korea. The author considers the process of liberalization as one of the stages of conversion from authoritarian to democratic regime in the context of transit theory. Based on transit-logic models of west researchers' conversion the author analyses the stage of pact conclusion and consensus achievement between South Korea elites.
