"SEMEYSKIYE": SOCIOCULTURAL TRANSFORMATIONS DURING THE PERIOD OF GROUP FORMATION

Abstract. The questions of the culture evolution of Transbaikalia Semeyskiye Old Believers during the period of their group formation are discussed in the article. The main stages of the sociocultural adaptation of traditionalistic community representatives under changing conditions are shown. The character of the influence of Semeyskiyes' historic fates on their church and folk culture is defined.
