PEASANTRY RESISTANCE TO SHEER COLLECTIVIZATION IN VYATKA PROVINCE AND VOTSKAYA AUTONOMOUS REGION (NOVEMBER 1929 - MARCH 1930)

Abstract. This article prepared by the materials of Vyatka province and Votskaya region is devoted to peasantry reaction to state policy of sheer collectivization. It is shown that peasantry maintained active and passive resistance, exterminated cattle, sabotaged authorities' measures, left from collective farms. Under the threat of agriculture crash the state had to weaken its course which led to mass leaving from collective farms.
