Abstract. The author discusses the perception peculiarities of such notions as space and time in Russian national worldview. Russian way of thinking makes direct impact on language structure. Russian self-consciousness finds its expression in language and communication specifics. Cultural-conditioned semantic fields identification, on which basis communication context isrevealed, contributes to mutual understanding in the context of expanding cross-cultural contacts.
