Abstract. The authors research the essence, intelligent and technological preconditions, main trends of the development, current status and prospects of information-computer revolution as well as this revolution influence on information society formation, differentiate between information revolution in broad and proper senses of the word, study the impact of information-communication technologies and intelligent computer technologies on modern socium life activity and on the formation of the society basing on knowledge and suggest the development of intelligent telecommunications (ITC) and intelligent-telecommunication society (ITCS) conception.
