OCCUPATIONS OF TOWNSPEOPLE IN DAGHESTAN IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE XIXTH - THE BEGINNING OF THE XXTH CENTURY

Abstract. The author reveals the main economic occupations of Daghestan region townspeople in the second half of the XIXth - the beginning of the XXth century, from the end of the Caucasian war till the overthrow of autocracy, and pays special attention to the traditional occupations of town dwellers, as well as new professions related to the Europeanization of townspeople's life.
