DOMESTIC INDUSTRY MODERNIZATION ON IMPORT TECHNICAL BASIS IN THE 1920-1930S (BY MATERIALS OF URAL REGION)

Abstract. The author covers the questions of foreign technical presence in domestic industry at one of the most important stages of the economic development of the USSR, in regional aspect, by the materials of the Udmurt Ural region, shows the "penetration" and provision of the leading branches and enterprises of heavy industry in the 1920-1930s with technical import, and pays particular attention to the ascertainment of foreign supplies significance and place in the consolidation of arms production technical basis.
