Abstract. The author discusses the questions of self-regulatory organizations legal status structure, considers the key elements of a self-regulatory organization legal status as the institution of law, basing on the complex analysis of self-regulatory professional activity normative base in Russia; describes legislation basic requirements to self-regulatory organizations formed in mandatory manner, and basing on this analysis substantiates the necessity for a legislator's differentiated approach to establishing mandatory requirements for self-regulatory organizations in various fields of entrepreneurial and professional activity.
