IDEAL SOVIET MAN IMAGE IN SOVIET UNION PRESS OF THE 1930S

Abstract. The author considers the scheme of soviet people's ideal image creation in periodical press of the 1930s, pays special attention to the algorithm of socialist city hero-builders' mythologized image formation, and draws conclusions about the social-cultural functions of the concerned image.
